Job Title: Sushi Chef


  • Cooking training in Japan, excellent knowledge of traditional Japanese culinary art
  • At least 5 years of professional practice in Japan, in highly authentic catering / hotel establishments
  • Strong social skills and dexterous manners
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours
  • Independent, exact way of working
  • English skills
  • Leadership qualities


  • Responsible for a consistently high level of guest satisfaction
  • Development of creative and highly authentic Japanese specialties
  • The preparation of very authentic Japanese dishes
  • Responsibility for the smooth operation during the service
  • Receipt, follow-up and forwarding of guest feedback
  • Ordering
  • Cost-conscious handling of the food provided
  • Careful handling of the materials / utensils provided
  • Passing on specific expertise, introduction and training of chefs in Japanese culinary art
  • Close cooperation with the consultant Chef / Chef de Cuisine to ensure that the overall F&B concept is implemented properly and successfully
  • Compliance with HACCP standards
  • Compliance with security standards
  • Impeccable behavior in accordance with HR regulations / employee handbook
